This morning we will leave Rabat to direct us to Meknes, flanking the woods of Mamora. Arrival in Meknes and visit of the historical city. To 27 km from Meknes the ruins of the Roman city of Volubilis are met, where we will visit the marvelous archaeological rests of the Roman epoch. Follow the visit of the holy city of Moulay Idriss and we will continue for Fez. Accomodation in Riad.

Fes - Guided Visit of the Medina of Marrakech

Guided visit of the Medina of Fes, the most ancient of the imperial cities, founded in the 808 what before political, religious and cultural capital of the Country. Departing from Fes, we will direct in direction of the Middle Atlas, where we will effect a first stop into Ifrane, known as the “African Switzerland.” The following place is Azrou, “the rock”, village Berber known for its craftsmanship, its carpets and the sculptures in wood; later we will continue for Midelt. The tour will proceed for Tizi Talghemt (also says the “neck of the cammella”), sets to 1907 meters altitude: the relief is impressive, the mountain is completely “naked.” In the afternoon we will arrive to Errachidia and we will continue along the green palmetis of the Valley of the Ziz, thin to reach the palmentis of Erfoud. Our road we will continue until to reach the stately dunes of thin sand of the erg Chebbi, near Merzouga. With the dromedaries we will enter the desert of dunes and to contemplate an unforgettable sunset. Will be a special night, will sleep among the dunes under a typical berber tent! Erg-Chebbi » Merzouga » Todra Gorges » Dades Valley

If you like to wake up soon, you can attend the sunrise from the tall of a dune; later we will come back – with the dromedaries – in hotel for the breakfast and to take a relaxing shower. At this point, will be arrived the moment to leave the desert and we will direct there to Rissani, where we will visit the market, known in particolar way for the exchange of donkeys. It’s a unique place, where the people of the desert hasten for buying and to bring their commodities to sell; it is a very curious visit, interesting. After we will move there to Erfoud where we will visit the laboratories of the fossils, inside which rocks are worked, formed ago over 380 million years. We will continue to reach the impressive Todra Gorges, place preferred by the climbers and by the lovers of the trekking. We will continue along the Dades Valley and the “way of the 1000 kashba”, and we will enter inside the Valley of the Rose, where creams, soaps and the famous water of roses are produced. We will have lunch in a restaurant typical of the zone, in the village of Boutghrar; after lunch we will continue the trip along the Dades Valley and here we will also spend the night. Accomodation in Hotel.

Valle del Dades » Skoura » Ouarzazate » Ait Ben Hadou » Marrakech

After breakfast, departure to Ouarzazate, where we can contemplate the Kasbah Taourirt, in other times residence of the Pachà of Marrakech. The Kasbah has been built with the typical architecture that foresees the “towers merlate.” To 30 km from Ouarzazate we will meet the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, crossing a mini-footstep, accompanied by a beautiful landscape characterized by straw constructions and little village in the mountain. We will visit the Kasbah of Telouet and we will have lunch on the place. In the afternoon we will take back our walk crossing different villages Berbers of mountain, thin to arrive to the Atlas. Our adventure we will continue through the cordillera of the Atlas and the Tizi’n Tichka (2260 mt of altitude). In the late afternoon we will reach Marrakech. Accomodation in Riad.

Marrakech - Guided visit of the Medina

After breakfast, guided visit of the Medina, accompanied by a local guide; we will discover the gardens, the graves saadite (what they guard the rests of the founders of the city), the Bahia Palace (residence of the old Visir), the Mosque of the Koutobia with his splendid minaret and, obviously, the unbelievable Djemma El-Fnà Square, that is a fabulous market during the day and for the night it turns into a magic show. Accomodation in Riad.
